To Write Or Not To Write

Phewwwwww….
Finally.. After a gap of almost two months, I am writing a post. This whole year has been non-productive for me in terms of writing. There is no excuse for this. My reading habit was responsible for my writing. I used to read a lot. For instance, If I was standing near dustbin(or rather overflown dustbin) and I had nothing to do, I would pick a paper from dustbin and start reading. Sounds crazy.. I can imagine in a place far far away, a dust bin full of paper waiting for me. I wish I could go there…

My primary source of reading was and is internet. I still read stuff from Wikipedia. Whats missing is the posts in blogs. I find it difficult to open my Google reader which must have gained weight by now. There were days when we used to exercise together, regularly. Daily exercise keeps you fit and fine and slim. I could see him punching in my face with only one word coming from the mouth.. Shame.. Shame.. Shame.. Yeah. It is unaware of the fact that I am a shameless person.

The second source are books. Sometime back I took a pledge that I will read at least two books a month. I lost this habit a couple of months back. Books have always been my best friend. The only thing I can trust blindly(Though I can’t read with my eyes closed). Irrespective of how good or bad a book is, it ends up adding\aiding my knowledge. Most of the times it adds words into my vocabulary. The last two months, my habit of reading books is getting some life. Read three books so far.

Every blogger has his days. These are not mine. Over the years I have also realized that reading is similar to lying. The more you practice the better you get at it.

Till I write my next post..

The Art Of Writing

Boom..
Dhooom…
Splash…
Dhish.. Dhush.. Bhiskyaw..

Don’t run away. I have not gone mad. These are the sounds of the firecrackers telling the whole world that I am back with a bang. It’s been almost a month since my last post. Reasons are obvious and these hurdles in blogging seem to be perpetual. You can go through my archives to find the probable reasons if you are still interested.

As for the the post title, I am going to tell you some secrets of writing. These secrets were discovered by me in the last whole month with some extensive re-search(Notice and read the hyphen). This will change the whole blogging world and anyone who reads further will take a big step towards writing. I suggest to stumble, digg or bookmark this post as soon as you finish.

Here are the five secrets of writing.

  • Read books by controversial authors. Learn from them how to create a controversy. Implement it in your writing and find yourself everywhere. You’ll find yourself on YouTube videos featuring peoples using your poster as toilet paper. This will increase your popularity exponentially as YouTube is very popular.
  • Create characters which will indulge in romance. Doesn’t matter if it’s straight or the opposite of straight. What’s important is the romantic, erotic description of them making love.
  • Use abusive and vulgar language. That’s a “must” rule in modern writing. If you don’t know to write using vulgar words, Go fuck yourself. (This is just example. Not meant to you)
  • Hire a ghost writer. He will write for you and you’ll get paid x number of times more than him. Do not use this trick if you are afraid of ghosts.
  • Learn foreign languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean and translate their literature in English. They hardly read English literature and very few English literates read their literature.  Don’t think it’s plagiarism. You are doing a work of honor by spreading the knowledge around the world rather than restricting to a certain region.

Follow these rules and you are on the right path of success(I wonder if there is any wrong path of success). Please give credit to me or this post at least for your success.

Keep Blogging and Keep Writing…

P.S. : The sound of firecrackers at the start of this post turned out to be those used in Diwali celebrations. I thought…

What’s this September?

After the holidays, which I couldn’t enjoy due to being a bed-pal, I am back now. Things going haywire for me or may be not. In complete confusion, I have joined my new job. Whatever I had planned is into the vain due to this step. Isn’t that sentence familiar to you? Anyways, I decided not to plan anything for this month. I am completely stuck, stopped, blank at this moment. Blank as a blackboard. Just to get rid of this blankness, I am writing this.

Oh.. One more thing. This month is going to be a lot more fun. I got hint regarding this as my PC stopped working and created a lot of problems. My monitor rendered nice fancy patches like that in modern art gallery. Somehow I have managed to get it working. Great start for this month.

P.S.: Who says I am very sarcastic? I just need to read The Alchemist again.

Can you believe this?

dogdiary

I never saw a dog catching his tail. I would love to see if they actually do this. A real picture is worth thousand times more than illustration. If anyone does have a real picture like what I said above then please upload it somewhere and post the link here. I’ll give it a place in my post with the credits.

I am also yet to see a dog with straight tail. That tail doesn’t straighten up even if you put it in pipe for years. A research has to be done on this subject. It is one of the seven wonders in animal kingdom.

Till I find a dog with straight tail…

I had a different topic to write about for today’s post. Just then I stumbled on this post. The devil in me woke and he forced me to copy that. I couldn’t resist. Here I am copying the post. It was the picture which was the driving force. I need to explore flickr a lot to find some gems and write articles or in other words nonsense.

I was never into the writing thing. It is this blog which is pulling out the hidden writer in me. I am really sorry that you have to tolerate me. It is this space which makes me happy. It’s not because I can trouble you with my writings, but it’s because I can jot down what I want to say. I feel much relaxed after writing something here. Continue reading →
