What do you think about old Macs?

Do you think they are still used? Having a Macbook is a proud feeling. Anyone doesn’t want a Mac? You won’t find anyone. It’s a different case if you ask a beggar about Macbook. That would be an exception. Old Macs started a revolution and it continues. The only change is that they are state of art gizmos on look side. They have replaced old Macs. But do you know old Macs are still used? Check it out.

That Grrl is crazy

What should be this weeks blog?? That was the question for this week. The reason was not because I don’t have anything to feature, but because I get to read some good blogs and it becomes hard to pick which one is first. So I go the gentleman’s way. Ladies first. 🙂 This weeks blog is by a lady author who is over 40 years of age. She’s a grrl by the way. This is another blog which I could read just because of entrecard. I got the link from there.

Let’s start with the review. This blog is very simple. Many things here are kept simple and these add to the plus of the blog. In spite of reading some new entries and also some from achieve I was not able to get the theme of the blog. That doesn’t go in minus points. If you write good there is no need for some kind of theme. You can write randomly about anything you want. I started reading that way then

The problem was there. The writings are very short. There is hardly anything expressed. While reading every entry I was searching for a link that would say like “Read the rest of the entry” or “Continue Reading”. That is because the complete post looks like a synopsis. That hurts when you are looking forward for a blog to read about. There is a lot need to be improved on writing side. Just like what I need to do. 😛 This is another blog where pictures are used within posts. Just use is not going to do anything it should be appropriate. Author succeeds here. That is a plus. Happy Independence Day

India Independence DayClick To Magnify

Happy Independence day to all Indians around the world. Every person is proud of his country and he should be. There are times when we don’t like our country due to the politics and corruption and all the nonsense happening. But somewhere deep in your heart there is a place for your country. I have and today is the day every year I remind myself of that place. I don’t do anything special on this day. No flag hoisting, No National anthem. This day I just remind myself that I have to do something for my country. And this one time makes me remember that throughout the year.

After the high school, I never went for flag hoisting. It’s the bitter truth. I admit it. But that doesn’t mean I forgot about my country, I don’t love my country. I want to stay here. I want to do something for my country. Why should I serve any other country when my own country gave me so much?? This is my time to pay something back. I want to succeed in this and I hope I succeed. A request to all the Indians around the world. Your country needs you. Come back to home.

I salute to all those who gave their life for our independence. Because of whom we are now here. To all the soldiers on the borders guarding the country from enemies. Because of whom we can sleep without a worry. This post is to tell them that you are being remembered.

Vande Mataram!!!

Age of a Blogger

I’ve been blogging for five months. Actually it’s far before that. But I did it on large scale since five months. At present I’m 24. So I’m not that old. A bit young blood (These lines are written just for my personal satisfaction that I’m not old). So what’s the perfect age for blogging?? Do you have a certain age limit in your mind??

There are millions of bloggers around the world and I read many blogs. I really don’t know their ages. What I look and read is the thing they write. The entries they post. If it’s interesting I comment and give a visit again. That’s how my blogging goes. But in spite of these things I had an age limit in my mind. Like 60-70 years. No one can blog over that. But I was wrong.

On 12th July 2008 the oldest blogger died. Her name was Olive Riley. You can read about the news here and here. And do you know what was her age?? She was 108 years old. Pretty young. This gives clear idea that the bloggers and blogging does not have age limit. It is you who limit yourself. If you really wanted to blog then you would have asked for help. Zillions of sites and peoples ready to help you.

The blogger died is an inspiration for all. At least I’m inspired. I will now be posting with more passion. You can visit her blog at

Domain may not be working but the blogspot link works. Visit and give a tribute to her.

May her soul rest in peace..

A Short Story About Man..

On the very first day, God created the cow. He said to the cow, “Today I have created you! As a cow, you must go to the field with the farmer all day long. You will work all day under the sun! I will give you a life span of 50 years.”

The cow objected, “What? This kind of a tough life you want me to live for 50 years? Let me have 20 years, and the 30 years I’ll give back to you.” So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the dog. God said to the dog, “You are supposed to do is to sit all day by the door of your house. Any people that come in, you will have to bark at them! I’ll give a life span of 20 years.” Continue reading →
