Learn to focus

You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.
– Mark Twain

As a normal day he was walking on the road. But he was focused. His neck was turned 90 degree to the right and he was walking straight. In such a particular situation often a pole comes in between and hits the head. That’s a normal thing. Since it was a normal day this normal thing happened. Ouchhh… He quickly got up and started walking forward in same manner. A dog’s tail can never be straightened. He was strongly focused.

And Ouchhh.. again. But this time a woman dashes into him and the ouchhh comes from her mouth. She looks at him, he looks at her. She walks away. He quickly realizes that he needs to focus and looks to right. Runs forward and she is gone. So he lost two woman’s. One due to lack of focusing and one he never tried to focus. This is the reason I am telling you guys, learn to focus.

Womanist Musings

There are times when you get closer to the reality it hurts. Very few tend to write on the real things and express it in a way that will leave a place somewhere. I like to read such writings and believe me they are getting very rare. Most of the times writer tend to write on fantasies and own creations. That is because it sells faster. Believe me that a good writer will try to write something on reality. This blog is something about such thing.

Womanist Musings is one of the blogs which goes towards the reality and tries to bring out some issues which were never in focus. When I first hit this blog i thought it’ll be just another political blog expressing blah blah about democrats and republican parties. When I started reading carefully and peeking through archive gave me an idea of how good the blog is.

Everyday stories with a different perspective are common but these are not just everyday stories. As the name suggests most of the stories are related to woman. I am confused though that the blog name is due to the above reason or because they are being written by a woman. Almost every story will strike you. If you re a good reader then you’ll be back. That Grrl is crazy

What should be this weeks blog?? That was the question for this week. The reason was not because I don’t have anything to feature, but because I get to read some good blogs and it becomes hard to pick which one is first. So I go the gentleman’s way. Ladies first. 🙂 This weeks blog is by a lady author who is over 40 years of age. She’s a grrl by the way. This is another blog which I could read just because of entrecard. I got the link from there.

Let’s start with the review. This blog is very simple. Many things here are kept simple and these add to the plus of the blog. In spite of reading some new entries and also some from achieve I was not able to get the theme of the blog. That doesn’t go in minus points. If you write good there is no need for some kind of theme. You can write randomly about anything you want. I started reading that way then

The problem was there. The writings are very short. There is hardly anything expressed. While reading every entry I was searching for a link that would say like “Read the rest of the entry” or “Continue Reading”. That is because the complete post looks like a synopsis. That hurts when you are looking forward for a blog to read about. There is a lot need to be improved on writing side. Just like what I need to do. 😛 This is another blog where pictures are used within posts. Just use is not going to do anything it should be appropriate. Author succeeds here. That is a plus. Elderly woes …

With all the new technology regarding fertility recently, a 65-year-old woman was able to give birth to a baby. When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, her relatives came to visit.

“May we see the new baby?” one asked.
“Not yet,” said the mother. “I’ll make coffee and we can visit for awhile first.”

Thirty minutes had passed, and another
Relative asked, “May we see the new baby now?”
“No, not yet,” said the mother.

After another few minutes had elapsed, they
Asked again, “May we see the baby now?”
“No, not yet,” replied the mother.

Growing very impatient, they asked, “Well, when can we see the baby?”
” WHEN HE CRIES!” she told them.
“WHEN HE CRIES?” they demanded. “Why do we have to wait until he cries?”

“BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I PUT HIM. O.K.?????”

That’s the reason to do right things  at right times.
