Lousy Lazy February

Where to start?? This was the question when I sat in front of my PC with Blog editor open. There is a lot to say but I am still finding it difficult to manage with time. This is affecting things I want to do. I am not that old blogger who started blog in last February with loads of stuff to write. Now I have no time to write but have stuff to write about.

For the past week I am busy with a major slab and that is taking hell out of me. I am finding it very difficult to manage things on site. For a small decision, I have to go through a lot of paperwork. The positive side is I am loving all the trouble. I want more and more of this. If the things get easy then my interest vanishes. I see a lot of troubles for next whole week.

Tired from the site when I sit in front of PC, I find it very difficult to arrange the words. I find it difficult to eve find words. Add to it my bad bad broadband. The result was the worst post count for February. Even worse was the quality of nonsense. I already made an announcement that I’ll be blogging alternate days from March. It has  already started last month.

Today was a big relief. I woke up late and completed my sleep for the whole week. Then I watched a movie, two bowls of ice-cream, a looong shower and then reading. I read too much. Cleared almost 700+ posts in Google reader. There are less than 300 left now. Tired of reading online, I went offline for reading. After reading for 2 hours, I thought of posting. So far so good.

One of my website is still under construction. I’ll give it time this weekend.  Things are changing on this blog also. Did you read my last post? I wrote a poem. :w00t: :w00t: Now I want to dedicate this month just for new connection and reviving old ones. Just want to change “I’ll try” to “I want”.

Till I do that…

Think Nonsense…

Age of a Blogger

I’ve been blogging for five months. Actually it’s far before that. But I did it on large scale since five months. At present I’m 24. So I’m not that old. A bit young blood (These lines are written just for my personal satisfaction that I’m not old). So what’s the perfect age for blogging?? Do you have a certain age limit in your mind??

There are millions of bloggers around the world and I read many blogs. I really don’t know their ages. What I look and read is the thing they write. The entries they post. If it’s interesting I comment and give a visit again. That’s how my blogging goes. But in spite of these things I had an age limit in my mind. Like 60-70 years. No one can blog over that. But I was wrong.

On 12th July 2008 the oldest blogger died. Her name was Olive Riley. You can read about the news here and here. And do you know what was her age?? She was 108 years old. Pretty young. This gives clear idea that the bloggers and blogging does not have age limit. It is you who limit yourself. If you really wanted to blog then you would have asked for help. Zillions of sites and peoples ready to help you.

The blogger died is an inspiration for all. At least I’m inspired. I will now be posting with more passion. You can visit her blog at
World’s Oldest Blogger
or
World’s Oldest Blogger
Domain may not be working but the blogspot link works. Visit and give a tribute to her.

May her soul rest in peace..

Have you heard of Goa??

It’s the place where I live. :woot: Shocked??? May be or may not not be. But there must be at least one who will have this question in his\her mind. How come such a stupid person be in the coolest place in world?? Sorry to disappoint you. But that’s where I live. And believe me it’s really a nice place to live. I’ve been living here since the day I was united into 23+23 chromosomes. (I’m weak in Biology. Correct the number if I’m wrong.)

I’m writing this today because my blog completed five months. It’s six months for me. I worked hard (????) for about a month, that was in January, to learn about blogging and gathering content. When I started the blog, I had enough content to post for one and half month. I used all means to put this blog forward. And after five months of blogging, now I can write about anything in just a matter of minutes.

I’ve learned the art to write (I was illiterate 🙁 ). How to write a post given a topic. That is what matters to keep your blog alive. Reading is the most essential part. Keep reading, especially other blogs. That will give you some ideas. Don’t copy them but use them. But write in your own words. Continue reading →

What is Pro-Blogger??

I actually don’t know since when this blogging thing started. I feel the question is correct. It’s not Who is Pro-Blogger?? After this entry may be I’ll find out more about that. Since the start, there has been an exponential growth of the blogs. Almost anyone can create a blog. And anyone who knows to operate Computer and use internet is creating a blog. That is the secret of growth of the Bloggers.

But not all bloggers are same. Some bloggers are new or called as n00bs. They have little knowledge of blogging and just copy paste things around them. They write something about themselves and leave the blog. Many time they don’t update. I wanted a blog on Blogger and WordPress but the name I wanted was already taken. And it was just created and left. That’s not a Blogger.

Now how you can become a Pro-Blogger?? Truly speaking I don’t know. Even I’m trying to find out this. The real definition of Pro-Blogger is not known to me. When I googled for the term I found the following definitions.

A Problogger or Professional Blogger is a person whose occupation is to write blogs for a living. He or she is considered an expert in his or her field and is an authority qualified to teach apprentices.

A Pro Blogger is one who gets paid for the Blog he writes or the posts he writes.

But then there are some Bloggers who are much successful in terms of hits to their sites. But still they don’t earn anything from their posts or blogs. Aren’t they Pro-Blogger?? Do they belong to Pro category??

The simple reason for the for writing this article is that I get to see many blogs or bloggers saying things. Like they want to be a Pro-Blogger. They are Pro-Blogger. May be the cash they earn is the only criteria for being a Pro-Blogger. Now I want to be a Pro-Blogger. It’s been six months I’ve been writing daily. I want that badge now ;-( . I feel related to the picture.
