The Definition of Creativity

The world is full of creative peoples. Even you are one of them. Yes, you must have created something unknowingly. Creativity is not limited. There is a lot to create. Sadly all that is created is ought to be destroyed. But that doesn’t stop process of creation. That is the reason you find creativity all around you.

The keyboard, the monitor, your hankie, glasses, shoes, wallet, pen, paper, eraser anything and everything is born out of creativity. Creativity is one of the things that drives the world. There are some who try to destroy things. Well these destroyers are also creative. They makes arms and ammo out of their creativity. It’s the other side of the coin.

Just look around and you’ll find how creative the world is. You don’t need to be brilliant, genius or super genius to be creative. What you have is sufficient for the farm of creativity. Seeds of ideas and water of sweat will turn this farm to green color. Staying alert is the key to creativity. The more alert you are, the more creative you are.

As I said everyone is creative so you are. Create anything. Some non-rhyming sets of line and you may call it a poem. Some scribbled and altered world and you may call it article. Take a glass and a spoon to create a tone. To create music. Give shape to soil and make some pottery or statue. Give shape to rock and turn it into sculpture. There is a lot to create. This list will never end.

Be creative. Creative people are those who understand the true meaning of happiness. So when you are creative you are happy. Who doesn’t want to be happy?

Mules Think Positive

A parable is told of a farmer who owned an old mule. The mule fell into the farmer’s well. The farmer heard the mule ‘braying’- or- whatever mules do when they fall into wells. After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the mule, but decided that neither the mule nor the well was worth the trouble of saving.

Instead, he called his neighbors together and told them what had happened…and enlisted them to help haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well and put him out of his misery. Initially, the old mule was hysterical! But as the farmer and his neighbors continued shoveling and the dirt hit his back…a thought struck him.

It suddenly dawned on him that every time a shovel load of dirt landed on his back…

HE SHOULD SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP!

This he did, blow after blow.

Shake it off and step up…

shake it off and step up…

shake it off and step up!

He repeated to encourage himself. No matter how painful the blows, or distressing the situation seemed the old mule fought panic and just kept right on

SHAKING IT OFF AND STEPPING UP!

You’re right!

It wasn’t long before the old mule, battered and exhausted,

STEPPED TRIUMPHANTLY OVER THE WALL OF THAT WELL!

What seemed like would bury him, actually blessed him…
all because of the manner in which he handled his adversity.
That’s Life!
If we face our problems and respond to them positively,
and refuse to give in to panic, bitterness, or self-pity…

THE ADVERSITIES THAT COME ALONG TO BURY US USUALLY
HAVE WITHIN THEM THE POTENTIAL TO BENEFIT AND BLESS US!

So better to be like a mule. My father used to say me donkey every now and then. Now he doesn’t say that to me. Else I would have been proud that I’m donkey. Donkeys and mules are almost same.
