A Reason To Rejoice

A busy day at your working place. You get out of that place for your way to home. Open the gate and then the door to enter your house. You are tired from today’s work and want some rest, to start your day again the same way tomorrow. Before you do that you get a surprise visit from your friend and he invites you for a party.

Forgetting that you are tired, you go with your friend. Suddenly you realize you forgot to close the gate and door when you entered the house. You opened the gates for rejoicing. You then have a great time with your friends. You dance, cheer, sing, laugh. You turn into joyful person.

When you return home from party you realize what you were missing. These things were in your To-do list. Time for these things never arrived. They were always for Tomorrow. They were never listed for Today. Trying to find out the reason, Angel of sleep take you with him in his kingdom.

The next morning, while having your breakfast, your eyes go on the newspaper. The headline is about some terrorist attack. Below it is a news about an accident. Then there is news about murder. Same news looks a bit different to you now. “What if?” is the question that whirls in your mind. What if something happens to me today? What if I die today? I’ll never be able to see tomorrow. My plans for tomorrow are not valid and they will never be. I cannot assume. I may not get tomorrow.

So why not start rejoicing today? Do the things you liked yesterday night. Dance, cheer, sing, laugh. They will make you happy. They will make you happy today. Tomorrow a war may start, An explosion may destroy everything. That is because hatred and terror is spread all over the world. Terror is global. If terror is global then why not laughter? Why not happiness?

Start doing all joyful things today. Involve some more people around you into this. Let this thing spread. If there is happiness and love everywhere then there is no place for hatred. Even if everything gets destroyed and you die, You die rejoicing. In India we say that souls are immortal. When you die happy you are happy forever. So spread the word.
Give a reason to rejoice…

P.S:- Please close the doors and gates of your house else you may loose some wealth. It is not necessary that you’ll always get your friends visit when you keep them open.

Earth Hour II

I missed it this year. Last year I even wrote a post about this. Check this link for the post. Another thing is that I thought it will be tomorrow. Last year Earth hour was on 29th March. I didn’t visit the site. Also I am lagging behind and my surfing time is going down these days. So wasn’t aware much till I landed on Google page for searching. There was the link for Earth Hour.

Though I missed it today I’ll do it tomorrow. Turning of everything for one hour will save a lot. It’s been days since my last post about environment. I scribbled in between the nonsense with environmental issues. But in the flow of writing Nonsense I forgot about the environment. You see that happens with every person. This happened unknowingly from me.

At this moment I am trying to recall my last conversation with Mother Nature. It was almost a year ago when I was on holiday at my uncle’s farm house. After that there has been a looooong gap.  It is almost like I am going away from nature. I don’t want this to happen.

So within two weeks I’ll be with nature for a short while. I promise this to myself. Meanwhile I will try to save energy and protect Earth from harmful CO2.  Join me and make a difference…

Earth Hour

Yesterday between 8pm-9pm all around many countries participated in Earth Hour. This Earth Hour is an initiative  to protect  our Earth from global warming.  I may sound a  crazy man to all you guys as I speak and post much towards environment.  It may be  a little same kind of stuff to you. But believe me, if there was awareness about our environment then I wouldn’t have written such post. And yes I am a crazy person.

So what was done during this Earth Hour?? There was a simple thing done. The countries which participated turned there lights off between 8pm-9pm according to their countries standard time. This really must have saved a lot of energy. Imagine what if this is done every week or may be everyday. Of course you don’t  need to do this in that hour. You can do it according to your convenience.

Turn off everything for 1 hour. Those who were unable to switch their lights off were told to switch off the machines instead of keeping in standby. Keeping machines in standby is useless. I’ve seen in many offices that the PC’s are left standby for hours. Workers come and turned PC on during morning or the time day enter the office and turned it off when they live. They don’t bother if they are using it or not. They just don’t like to sit in front of switched off machine. That’s ridiculous. If all the power from stand by machines is combined it is a considerable amount of energy.

I may be talking nonsense. But it’s a request that don’t take our environment and this global warming as a nonsense.
