One more time there is Butterfly in my post. And this time it’s teaching us how to live. Pretty much true are the above four lines. When you have happiness share it. Make someone else smile. That smile will surely come back to you when you need it. Life is short. You never know when is your last day. But whatever you live take some moments out and make others happy. And you’ll always live for them.

When flying from one flower to another if a butterfly finds a flower with bad taste, he leaves it and moves to another without leaving the taste of previous flower on the next one. This way the flower also loves the butterfly on it. So the next time you see a butterfly recall this message. And pass this message to someone else.

It was a hot day and I was thirsty. There is a dairy booth where you get milk products. You get Lassi, Flavored milk, toned, high fat and all that stuff. Everything is packed. Take it and run. Many prefer flavored milk because you don’t have to wait long and then you don’t have to stand in one place. Cut it, put a straw and rush. I bet you’ll find one who can win Gold medal in sprinting for India in this crowd. Maybe they get the strength from the flavored milk. I love flavored milk and is much better than to drink some cola or soft drink.

One aged person, probably in late fifties or early sixties, runs that booth. I ask him for one packet. I wait. Busy with other customers, He probably heard me. The pendulum swings very slowly(like the hero and heroin running in slow motion towards each other) when you are thirsty. As if it’s purposely slowed down for this little girl. This, looking like a five year old, girl gently pulls my shirt. One of those beggars dirty… Stinking. Her face subtracted from innocence. I normally close my eyes or go away but not this time. I turn selfish. I want at least one smile in this whole crowd. A genuine smile. I don’t give her money. Instead I handover the flavored milk packet to her. An expressionless face. She takes it and disappears. Smile never gets to a selfish person. I drink one more packet, pay him and back to my search.

Like a normal human being, tension, sadness, failure surround me every now and then. Whatever it is, I try to bring smile on my mom and sisters face(I am still struggling with my Paa). I love to see them smiling. Whats good is, I try to make them smile and they do. A part of my strength fighting with my problems comes from here.

What inspired more to write this was a small chat session with a girl. Actually a married woman.
She Thinks: A married woman smiles less and can’t even practice smiling in front of bathroom mirror if she has forgotten.
I Think: As a mother she should be able to transfer the curve from her face to that of child. And to do that you need to….

I don’t want to hurt anyone. I don’t want to prove anything. And whatever I wrote above is not fiction, It’s reality. I am just trying to find smiles… The disappearing smiles in crowds..

Moving ahead there is a spring which is there for years. The area I live is known by the name of that spring(Springs do have a name). Earlier locals used to drink water from this but now you only find outsiders taking bath and doing their stuff there. A gutter goes by the side of this spring.(I already said it’s a typical Indian street.) There is an open space aside of this spring where some cars are parked. And this place is also the hangout of the street dogs. Between all the dogs I find a dog without hairs. Some kind of disease which makes dog naked.

November month marks the start of mating season. You’ll find dogs doing that thing openly, as if we don’t exist. This poor naked fella finds it difficult to move into the club of the dogs. He is separate from others keeping safe distance, with fear in his eyes and his tail down inside between the back legs. At that moment I thought we are also dogs and not monkeys. A person with physical abnormalities will stay away from the crowd. Just like that naked dog.

A couple of month back, I saw a similar dog. This one was a pet dog. There was a hut giving shelter to a family of labor. This dog was their pet. Unless you are from PETA or a die-hard dog lover(I doubt about them too), no one cares about these dogs. No one want’s to keep them as pets. This dog started barking when I came close to the hut alarming that labor. I found this a bit strange. This is no different dog if it had some hairs on it. He does his job even without hairs, even if the ones with hairs keep him distant. I quite liked this quality and wonder if this exists in us. Does it??

I hope that such dogs end up finding a mate.

First white hair is sort of turning point in your life. Often we relate it to experience. Your experience is directly proportional to the amount of white hairs on your head(What about the ones who are bald??). That’s why they say “These white hairs have seen a lot more things than you have.” Try to imagine a character artist saying this line. Becomes more effective. I have been involved in many conversations where this sentence struck.

The sad part of this story is that white hairs are on the verge of extinct. Hair dyes or Hair colors have changed this era. If you find someone with colored hair than he got white hairs(Most probably. I use these two words to save my life). A couple of months back my cousin brother colored his hair with white color. Not all but just the front part. I asked him why?? He said, “Everyone’s is coloring with brown, orange, pink and white is getting extinct. This is to save the whites and to get a different look among others.” True said. The only person with white hair I remember is Mr. Amitabh Bacchan with his white beard. Even the mothers in TV serials now don’t have white hairs. It’s difficult to differentiate who is mother and who is wife if you watch the serial for the first time.

I find it easy to bond and have conversation with white haired persons than youngsters of my age group. Maybe it’s because we are like haired, as in “like skinned” or “like religion”. Kind of Birds of the same feather flock together. They got a lot of experience and I have a big appetite for life experiences. I listen when they talk. Though on the verge of extinction, these white hairs can be found in places called old age homes. I am glad that at least someone is saving the white hairs.

Don’t run away. I have not gone mad. These are the sounds of the firecrackers telling the whole world that I am back with a bang. It’s been almost a month since my last post. Reasons are obvious and these hurdles in blogging seem to be perpetual. You can go through my archives to find the probable reasons if you are still interested.

As for the the post title, I am going to tell you some secrets of writing. These secrets were discovered by me in the last whole month with some extensive re-search(Notice and read the hyphen). This will change the whole blogging world and anyone who reads further will take a big step towards writing. I suggest to stumble, digg or bookmark this post as soon as you finish.

Here are the five secrets of writing.

• Read books by controversial authors. Learn from them how to create a controversy. Implement it in your writing and find yourself everywhere. You’ll find yourself on YouTube videos featuring peoples using your poster as toilet paper. This will increase your popularity exponentially as YouTube is very popular.
• Create characters which will indulge in romance. Doesn’t matter if it’s straight or the opposite of straight. What’s important is the romantic, erotic description of them making love.
• Use abusive and vulgar language. That’s a “must” rule in modern writing. If you don’t know to write using vulgar words, Go fuck yourself. (This is just example. Not meant to you)
• Hire a ghost writer. He will write for you and you’ll get paid x number of times more than him. Do not use this trick if you are afraid of ghosts.
• Learn foreign languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean and translate their literature in English. They hardly read English literature and very few English literates read their literature.  Don’t think it’s plagiarism. You are doing a work of honor by spreading the knowledge around the world rather than restricting to a certain region.

Follow these rules and you are on the right path of success(I wonder if there is any wrong path of success). Please give credit to me or this post at least for your success.

Think Nonsense…

I have a friend whose name is Vijay. A cheerful, jolly person with a loud voice and thin body. Just like me. We met recently and I didn’t knew much about him. Today he started to open some pages of his life and I was surprised. He’s got five brothers including him and a sister. That’s a big family and he was the only person on whom the whole family depended until recently his brothers got jobs. After things got settled he married a year back.

What surprised me was that he had a twin brother. The had part surprised.. well shocked me. His name was Ajay. Both the brothers were exact copy. It was difficult to recognize them if they stood by side. Ajay married a couple of months earlier than Vijay. His wife gave birth to a baby boy. He was very happy and he planned his 1st birthday to be celebrated in a grand way. At this stage everything was going good. But they say… “When everything is going good, prepare for something really bad.”

That happened. Ajay was getting some headaches and was on medicines. When the headaches started recurring he underwent some more tests and found positive for Cancer. He never smoked, never got drunk. Still… His last five months went in great pain. He felt like dying but never did. After five painful months, it was over. All these months Vijay was close to his brother. There is something strange about twins. They are connected in a way no one can understand. No one will understand. He spent almost all of his life’s savings on his brother. They were not sufficient to save his brother.

If it was not his brother then Vijay planned for a bigger house and a car. There were dreams he thought of. He was almost there to fulfill them. Destiny. It’s all written there. Maktub.

We are humans and emotions make our lives. Love is the most dominant one. This made Vijay spend his dreams to save his brothers life. Even though he knew that Ajay would die for sure, He wanted to try. There was hope. I wonder where these emotions come from? They are great boost. Sometimes they force us to be unexpected, unbelievable. Would you spend your life’s saving on someone who is dying? No. You won’t unless that person is close to you.
