But it Rained

For last 2-3 days its raining here. Its pretty strange because it is supposed to be end of May and in the month of June. Rains start around that time. Pretty much for sure its due to the global warming. For the last 3-4 years I’ve seen strange climatic changes.

Rains are not coming at normal. When rains come they are very heavy. Everything gets affected by them. Though rains doesn’t last for the interval they should, they complete the average rainfall here. Hence we face the October heat which is difficult to bare.

Then the winter is very cold. Last month it broke the minimum temperature record. I experienced the coldest day in my life. The dew is affecting cashew and mango plantation which are very important. This wasn’t like this.

Summer is hot. Very hot to be precise. You cannot feel the fans at high speeds. AC’s are good in office and house, but once you are out then you’ll be unable to bare the thing outside. So better to be with fans. Afternoons are very hot. Don’t get out at that time.

So why this is happening?? As i said due to Global Warming. High use of fossil fuels and hydrocarbons is creating Greenhouse effect. Its strange that the Global Warming may lead to harsh winters and something like ice age. But not ice age. Or may be. I’m not sure. There is a good article on this topic here.
Will global warming lead to an ‘ice age’
If you have patience to read then read it. A nice article. If its going to be an ice age be prepared. I’m ready for a snowfall here 😀

But guys we need to really think about this. For last few years Tsunamis, tornado’s, Earthquakes, cyclones, floods have increased and are taking thousands of lives. This is due to Global Warming. So what can you do to prevent it. Not something which is very hard to do.

1) Stop using plastics. Or use it reduce its usage. Alternatively don’t forget the Carry Bag.
2) Use Environment friendly fuel. Unleaded petrol, diesel, CNG, Solar power.
3) If possible use a bus or train as much as you can. This will save some money for you also.
4) And follow three R’s

3 r's

5) Don’t keep the lights, AC’s On when not in use.
6) Use daylight as much as you can. Consult a good Architect before planning a house.
7) Remember energy you save can be used elsewhere. The use of fossils to produce energy will reduce.

There may be much more, but I think these are very simple things. if you are reading this line means you probably read the whole post. Thanks for reading and now try to follow. Make it a better place to live.

Think Nonsense…
